As Santa sets off on his journey tonight, we get a peek inside his Archives!
Note the photos of famous persons inscribed to him on the walls. This 1955 German illustration is by Ermich Huber. We call this Santa Archivist. It hung in my archivist father’s office every Christmas, and upon his retirement it hung in my various archive and library offices. By 2002 it moved to my home office where it is hanging again this holiday season.
I hope to be posting more regularly on Hunting & Gathering come the new year. My eye is healing slowly, but one way or the other – I will be back!
I wish you all the very best – for a happy and healthy 2016.

And when Santa is done, he can relax with us…

Merry Christmas!!
