As Santa sets off on his journey tonight, we get a peek inside his Archives!
Note the photos of famous persons inscribed to him on the walls. This 1955 German illustration is by Ermich Huber. We call this Santa Archivist. It hung in my archivist father’s office every Christmas, and upon his retirement it hung in my various archive and library offices. By 2002 it moved to my home office where it is hanging again this holiday season.
May your discoveries in various archives, libraries, and other historical collections this coming year be as significant as what we find in Santa’s archive! My very best to you and yours for a healthy and prosperous 2020.
